Anemometer for a raspberry pi.Use either a Hall effect or Reed Switch hot glued to the side via the opening the body. Hot glue a neodymium magnet onto the threaded rod.

Requires:

2 x 608z bearings

5 x M8 nuts

3 x washers

Threaded Rod

The main body can be screwed down. This was one feature I wanted, the ability to screw the Anemometer to the roof of an allotment shed. Cups are push fit into the center ring. You could either super/hot glue or PLA weld the cups into place.

Unsure on RPM. When tested with a drill bolted to the threaded rod one cup flew out at a very HIGH RPM.

Build guide coming soon via Instructables.
