This is a door handle bumper that slips over either a 19mm or 16mm door handle. The unused hole and middle part will protect the wall or other door from impact from the door handle.
I would have liked to make this a customizable design, but I am a total novice so I really don't know how.
This particular design is mine, but it is loosely based on a similar bumper that has been used in my home for more than 30 years. I have tried to find such a bumper for sale for a long time, but never been successful. Therefore this was one of the first items that I designed and printed once I got my Prusa Mk2S
Printer Brand:
Prusa
Printer:
Prusa Mk2
Rafts:
No
Supports:
No
Resolution:
0.2
Infill:
20%
Notes:
You need to use a flexible filament for this to work. I used a no-brand filament, but I am sure you can use Ninjaflex or other such filaments.
I tried to print with both 15% and 20% infill and both work, but I feel 20% infill will give it the required stiffness and flexibility.
You should use at least 2 perimeters and 5 top and bottom layers to ensure the walls are sturdy.
