Multipurpose Twisted Knob

Important Note:

There are two configurations of this part:

• Enclosed nut (Twisted Knob - Nut.stl): make sure to add a pause print at the layer above the nut in order to insert it. The nut may be a press fit depending on your printer's tolerance. The part is designed for a standard 1/4"-20 nut (.43" hex, .22" thick) with .005" of clearance on all sides. Make sure the nut is firmly pressed in to the hole to avoid collision with the hot end.
• Threaded (tapped) plastic (Twisted Knob - Threaded.stl): if you have taps available you can download the model with a tap hole to avoid inserting a nut into the part.

Printing Notes:

• If available, use a textured bed for a nice finish on the front surface of the handle
• No supports needed
• Adjust infill depending on the strength needed for the application
