Worked a treat for mounting latest gen M2 Mac Mini under my desk. Printed in PETG & mounted using 50mm Countersunk Wood Screws.

I used it to mount my Mac Mini under the tabletop. Very brilliant and helpful. Thanks for sharing!

Would it be possible for you to share the step file? I need to change the hardware size to fit my needs and availability. Thanks for the design!

@BigSmoov_931570 sorry for the delay I didn't see your message right away. I have added the STEP file. Have fun!

I was able to print this on my Prusa Mini. Printed with Prusament on 0,20mm speed settings.

Printed with white Overture PETG, 10% gyroid infill. It fit perfectly on my Prusa MINI+ print bed when the skirt is disabled. Affixed with 2in drywall screws. Nice, solid design, works great with my M1 Mac Mini. (edited)

It mounts my mac mini M1 nicely and apparently securely under the desk. This was not really easy to install but it doesn't require too much plastic and it looks nice so I'm fine with the design choice.
I added 2 spacers made of wood to accommodate TimeCapsule dedicated HDDs on top of the mac so everything is out of the way! really happy with the solution.

Works just as advertised. I really enjoy that it's easy to slide in and out and stays securely. The only thing I might suggest as a downside is that it is very difficult to align things is you want fasten it to the desk without flipping the desk upside down because the pieces are separate. It could probably be done, but not as easily as flipping the desk upside down and mounting that way.

@KraemerPfleiderer If you are interested, I had had the idea that you might create a version small bar or two across the two parts. This bar would be fairly thin and connected only enough to keep the parts in alignment while attaching to the table. Then once attached, the bar could be torn/broken off. Perhaps that would be overkill, but it's the thought I had had about a way to solve the issue.

@RBlackhart_56918 sorry didn't see this earlier. I love the idea but I don't have a Mac mini anymore. I have uploaded the Step file, if you feel like making any changes for yourself.

How size screw did you use for these?

@Rwills_183677 I can check tomorrow. I think I used 4.5 mm thick countersunk wood screws, going into the desk with about 10 mm. Rock solid.

Works pretty well. The thermals are fine with the M1 version of the Mac Mini so far. *edit: using 4.5x50 mm wood screws w countersunk head. (edited)
