Description

PDF

This is (in default) small holder for 3 standard M6 nozzles, mounted on MK3s+ frame with 2 M3x10 screws.

I created this model for my nozzles including threaded holes and labels but I also added models without threads and without labels.

I originally designed and use the labelled threaded variant. The holder and nozzles are very solid in their place, not allowing any vibrations or rattling. Threaded variant has also an advantage for moving the printer - you don't need to be afraid of losing the nozzles. The distance from frame is sufficient to comfortably manipulate the nozzles with fingers. I printed it of course with Prusament PETG Orange ;)

Customization

You can customize this holder either by adding labels to the prepared models, or use the prototype model with basic dimensions and finish it as you like (e.g. more nozzle slots, custom shape, custom labels…).

If you want to use longer screws or modify the width of the holder wings, check clearances with Z axis. In default the holder wings are 4mm and frame has 6mm so the 10mm screws sit flush on the other side.

Print settings

  • no supports
  • 0.2 layer height (ok for threads)
  • 15% infill
  • I added 100% infill for the holder wings, just in case
  • PETG, PLA, …

Additional material

  • 2x M3x10 screws (check clearances with Z axis if you use longer ones!)

Installation

Put the 2 screws into the holder wings and screw the holder from behind to the 2 horizontal threaded holes in the frame. If you use longer screws, check the clearances with Z axis! See photos for better idea of the final placement.
