Fully Modular - MK8 Nozzle Box - Blank Included

Description

This fully modular design features a classic feature of snapfit joints. Whether you need storage for 10 or 1000 nozzles, build, stack and snap for secure storages.

Mix-n-match to your needs and styles. By default, all nozzles are fitted for MK8 extruders, but a blank is provided for remixing. Add whatever nozzles you use in any arrangement.

Variants of each sections have been included for nozzle orifice, “Nozzle” or simply blank for freedom.

Holes for 4x3 magnets are placed at the top and bottom corners for most sections to keep the layers secure when folded. Alternatives are a simple rubber band if you do not have these on hand.

NOTE: Joint are a tight press fit and need to be installed straight. As you swivel the joint more the motion will become smoother. In the event that a join fails, simply re-print and install the new joint.

One build required at least the following:

1X Top Section

1X Mid Section (Aligned, fanned, blank or custom)

1X Right Joint

1X Left Joint

Printing Considerations

Printing Files Lists are for a 3-module system as shown.

Joints should be printed stem up with the recommended layer height and nozzle as noted.

Sections may require a brim or corner brims to prevent warping (if this is a consideration for your machine). Make sure your printer is calibrated to prevent elephant foot bulge as this may negatively effect joint installation and motion.
