ARIANE 5

Description

     The Ariane 5 model is a highly detailed 1:200 scale reproduction of the iconic Ariane 5, which contributed to the JWST, JUICE and ATV Cargo for ISS. It has achieved 117 launches and only 2 total failures.. The model consists of several pieces printed separately, which are easy to print and assemble.

       The finished model dimensions are approximately 28cm high and 6cm wide for the Ariane 5. 

Printing

• There are 6 pieces to print, including 2 pieces for the Body and 3 pieces for the Engines. 
• The total printing time for the entire model is approximately 8 hours.

Choosing your configuration

     There are multiple configuration options available for this model, depending on your printing and assembly preferences. 

We offer 2 assembly configurations: 

• The Body in multipart
• The Body in one part (Only for printers with a print height above 20 cm)

Tips

Settings

• For infill, 10% is sufficient for a decorative object, and you can also use PrusaSlicer's "Lightning" infill settings. 
• For some parts, support will be necessary.

Printing

• For a better final result, I recommend printing the Jonction_Block last so that you can adjust their size according to your print and have a better fit during assembly. 
• The parts are positioned in the optimal direction for printing. 
• For the base, it is recommended to print with 4 perimeters to avoid visible infill.

Post Printing

• You may need to sand the junction areas between the parts for a smoother finish.
•  Additionally, I recommend using glue for better strength and durability.
• You can also add stickers, but be careful, these are HOME-MADE stickers (as I didn't think the result was any good, these are the only stickers I made).
