This is a scan of a slip cast piggy bank i made while in middle school years back in a previous century. The original is on the left. The file is hollow and includes a hole at the bottom for a rubber stopper as well as a coin slot in the piggies head.

He was scanned using an older model NextEngine with the 32 bit Proscan software, then cleaned up using 3D Coat. He is sized to print bottom up on a Rep2, but should scale up easily. I recommend using supports for his chins and snout. Since he is hollow, if you set supports automatically then you will get support material inside him. Make the infill percentage low if not zero since it is a thin walled object.

We will talk more about this guy and much more 3D Printing and 3D Scanning topics on the 3D Printing Today Podcast!!
