The lid for my coffee grinder broke. I tried super gluing it, and that held for a while, but I dropped it, and it broke again. So, I decided to print a new lid. I designed it in Tinkercad. I inspected it and reduced it in Meshmixer.

Notes:

I decided to print it curved side up so that side would be smoother, but it would be a little faster to print it upside down. There were a lot of supports to remove (auto-generated in Cura). I tried to print it in ABS, but I had problems with adhesion. I tried a second time with a higher bed temperature. That helped a little, but it still failed. So, I switched to PLA. I measured the opening to be 120 mm and I added a 4 mm lip, so the entire lid should be 128 mm wide. Mine print fits the grinder, but it's a little loose. It will stay on while grinding, but it might rotate a bit. It would fall off if I turned the machine over without holding it in place. It's close enough that I haven't reprinted, but if I did, I would scale up ever so slightly. I don't know if this is a design error, or a printing issue.
