RV Screen door push lever

This is a push button lever to make it easier to open the screen door on travel trailers and RV's without having to open the sliding cover for the door latch. It fits in a 1 1/4" hole. The centre of the hole should line up with the top of the existing door lever.

Notes:

I printed the lever part in reverse, in most cases you may want to do this. You will have to flip the obvious bottom of the part onto the bed. I printed with support everywhere for the insert and nut part. You could try without support. There is a lot of clearance in the thread so it should be no problem with the fit.

Post-Printing

Use a 2 1/4" common nail cut to about 1" as the pin. A spring about 6mm cut to about 1/2" works. Use a file to make a small notch at the bottom of the drilled hole as an alignment notch. You will want to add some kind of drawer handle or knob to pull the door closed.
