This design is a geometric hanging planter perfect for some cute succulents or other easy to keep household varieties.
It comes in two sizes, a medium and large, and is intended to be hung via string from the 5 hanging holes or could be hung in a macrame (ornamental knotting) sling.
It is a relatively easy print on FDM printers and is probably best printed as it would hang (flat side up, point to the bed) with supports. This does reduce the quality of the outer finish and may require some sanding to get a nice look.
Alternatively, it can be printed flat side down, point side up however, depending on how well your printer handles overhangs, this may produce some spaghetti which would have to be cleaned up and may reduce the water-tightness.
For those interested, the plant is a 'String of Pearls' that should eventually grow to hang over the side of the planter. The geometric shape of the planter is a 'pentakis dodecahedron'.
