Lasercut frame for the Affordable Rock Tumbler by onkelgeorg http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:935252
Instructions
We had a old HP Printer motor with a worm gear lying around, so here is how i adapted it to the design from onkel georg:
-Lasercut the frame, inserted the bearings, fastened the bearings with self tapping screws so they dont fall out over the hours it is running (important!)-Using the rollers from the original design, but changed the gears: since this was a custom job i didnt include the gear design in the files, search for a gear customizer in thingiverse ;)
-Its easier to laser the frame without mounting holes and adapt the motor once the basic structure is build by drilling the mounting holes (i used schelle.stl to fasten the motor)
