I am building jumping robot and this is first version of the main mechanism.It works by compressing 2 springs and later relasing them with great strength.There are 5 gears that together ensure high torque required for the pinion to move rack.

Some 3mm screws
3mm shaft(2x 25mm and 2x 65mm 2x100mm)
N20 motor (In my case it was 60:1)
2 Springs(I removed them from the shock absorbers of the toy monster truck) Wire diameter:1.20mm Outer Diameter:18mm Length:68mm
