Printing done. I have some issues with the seems, the base of the pieces contracted due to heat maybe and they are not all straight. It is not really visible but i cannot compare it with the other prints from here. I happen to notice also that looking at the other pictures the material looks different compared to my print, mine looks more like soft plastic, but ...it is a first try. The printing was done on a Ultimaker 3, 0.4 nozle, 0.2 layer height, 15% infill with Polymaker PLA filament. Or ,maybe because the others are painted ....

Hello Martin. I am embarking on the huge task of trying to print some of your models ( which by the way, are gorgeous ). I have a Ultimaker 3 so it is slower compared to other printers. What is the setup you would recommend for a quality vs time configuration ? One 1 kg filament role is enough ?

@CristianBoar_2490418 yeah, donny is rather small model. I use default settings for PLA in Prusaslicer, cant really tell you more.

@Martin I will give it a try... I want it so badly but I hope 1 role is enough :)

I always thought the doonie deserved more then she got, so I painted the model and brought the multi material systems to the limit and scaled it to max build plate . And here is the result .. the mcrn flag ship (edited)

Too many cool details to just print a small Donny. So I printed it as big as I could get it on the XL, 280%, and it ended up ~38in/97cm long. Even used some glow in the dark blue on the engines.

Absolutely brilliant stuff boss!

@Aweeks_1958799 I do actually. I can upload them but it'll take me a minute. Be warned, you will probably need to download and use this PS fork (linked below) for several plates to circumvent some of the current slicer limitations. I'm also not sure how well the paint/print settings translate if you try to go from XL to MMU (if that's what you meant), but you're welcome to try.

@BaconFase That would be great! Thanks for the detailed reply!

Thank you Martin (the designer) , you designed such an unbelievable model. It was the most satisfying thing in the entire world clicking it together.

Printed Prusa Mk 4, 0.4mm nozzle, 0.15mm Structural IS.

Used 3 different types of filament, the galaxy black prusament really made the exhausts pop.

Side note to everyone, the number at the end of the model is how many times you should print it.

All though I am not sure what the two little pins are for? hmmmmm

Thank you so much for your amazing work! You truly are gifted Martin!

Having a hard time printing railguns, what's the trick ? ;)

Excellent 3D Model

Nice model, printed at 1/2000° and 1/3000° scale (73% and 50%).
