There are two variants of the lid. Jena cleans them without labels and on the other there is a surface with dimensions 31x15mm for inserting labels. It can be created in three ways:
- print on a 3D printer using a generator (text_label_generator.scad) and then paste.
- print on a regular printer on paper and glue after cutting.
- use, for example, a permanent handle.
Instant glue (or other plastic glue you use) is needed to fold.
Video instructions for composition are on the attached video (https://youtu.be/DiiA1Yi_T_4).
Folding procedure:
- We clean the printed parts from possible overflows and dirt.
- Insert the printed spring into the body first.
- Slide the hook on it and leave it in the "retracted" position.
- Thread the pointer on the spring with the hook so that it points to the left and its lower paw is located under the protrusion on the hook. (In case we want the hook to put up more resistance, we can "pre-tension" the spring by turning it a quarter of a turn to the left before inserting the hand).
-Followly apply glue to the upper part of the body (taking care not to get on the moving parts) and apply the upper lid.
- In the case of the variant with a name tag, of course we will stick the name tag in the hole in the lid.
- Finally, it remains to hang on a screw or nail, with a head with a diameter of 4.5-6.5mm and hang the keys.
3D printing settings
I recommend printing with a maximum layer height of 0.2mm
Suitable materials: PLA fully compliant for printing
