I've been using AngryHulk's spool holder (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4834202) for a while now. It's a great system, very modular, configurable and adaptable. But I noticed some of my narrower spools would wander across the extra width of the roller. The only thing this system was missing is a shorter base/roller to better fit narrower spools - which is odd because it takes literally seconds to swap one such assembly for another. This'll fit a 1kg Overture spool nicely - the roller is 68mm between the chamfers.
This remix has 3 STL files, the shorter base and roller, and the pin for the end of the roller (you need 2 of 'em). Both the roller and pins should be printed vertically with a brim, and both have pretty generous fillets to mitigate all but the worst cases of elephant's foot. You'll also need one of the dovetail mounts (either extrusion mount or mount for the stock bracket) from AngryHulk's original thing.
Since this is an import from Thingiverse, I included all AngryHulk's original files so the system is complete. All AngryHulk's original work has been labeled as his.
