Extensible, mostly-3D-printed table lamp designed to use any LED strips and control electronics. Simply stick an LED strip to a piece of 15x15mm aluminum extrusion and print the base, 40mm long endcap, and as many 124mm long diffuser sections as you need to cover the LED strip. The base contains an approximately 67mm diameter by 16mm high cylindrical cavity for enclosing any control electronics or weights needed to stabilize a very tall lamp, and a 2.7x5mm rectangular hole with integrated ziptie mount for feeding through a power cable.
Print using any rigid material - the diffusers must obviously be printed in clear/translucent plastic. Clear PETG or PC is recommended.
The lamp shown in the photo is using 410mm (84 LEDs) of 144 LED/meter SK6812 RGBW addressable LED strip, powered by a Raspberry Pi running my project LEDControl. The base is printed in eSUN ABS+ and the diffusers are printed in clear PETG.
