This XT60 Distribution Box (or Power Strip) allows you to convert a single power source with XT60 connector into 5 x XT60 outputs. I designed it so the top snaps into the bottom with a moderate fit - it can be disassembled should there be the need of debugging or fixing something. The XT60 connectors all fit tightly in my print - if you desire a less tight fit, you may want to consider printing in 101% scale.

Print Settings

  • Rafts: No
  • Supports: No
  • Resolution: 0.15
  • Infill: 15%
  • Filament: Prusament PLA Galaxy Silver

Most Materials should work just fine with this design.

Post-Printing

Step 1: Push the XT60 Connectors into place

Press the 5 output XT60 connectors into place. Do not yet push the input into place.

Step 2: Solder

Solder the outputs together. I chose a copper wire as a bridge and then soldered all the XT60 connectors to the wire. Worked great for me, but note that you will need a lot of heat here...

Step 3: Solder two wires to the input & connect

Solder two wires (with a reasonable wire gauge) to the input XT60 terminal. Then push the connector in and as the last step solder the wires to the XT60 output rails. Pay attention to the polarity! Use heat-shrink if desired. Make sure nothing can short!

Step 4: Put together!

Just push the top plate into the bottom case. And you're done! You just finished your XT60 power strip.
