Why

I upgraded to an SBASE board which, despite the nice little heatsink on the stepper drivers, could do with a bit of active cooling. So I designed a simple mount for a 40mm fan.

Features

  • Fits your standard alumin(i)um 2020 extrusions, so should fit most kossels, AM8's, Hypercubes and what not.
  • Metric nuts/bolts (M3)
  • Optional slots for nuts (though you don't really need this, the M3 bolts thread nicely into the mount itself)
  • Works great with this board mount: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1417254

Instructions

  • Print it with the flat side down
  • .15mm layers is plenty detailed.
  • No supports needed
