Excellent design! The door mechanism works surprisingly well, even if the first and second cycle (for me at least) was a little tough to open and close, but each cycle the door gets smoother and smoother. The Pip mechanism worked even in my untuned printer!
Sorry for the meh photos, i printed in white so the contrast is not very good.
@RickColombo_2174080 thanks dude, the photos are nice :) Great to read positive feedback on the mechanism 👍
@VitBudina don't worry about the mechanism! now that i've moved it quite a bit it is as smooth as butter!
@Elvis3D_2160011 glad you enjoyed it, happy to see some custom branding on it too 😄
Hello, You can send me your Cura profile for help me, please. In which positions do I place the truck and box on the printing table?
@Elvis3D_2160011 hi, I'll send you the profile in DM. Print it in the orientation it's in, no supports are needed. Hope this helps!
No, the door doesn't work, I broke it when I tried to open it lol
@fatmax_1786363 I figured 😅 still looks good for the scale haha
nice and easy print. fits perfectly on the truck however the backside doesnt seem to open. And since its a gift I need to give tonight (print took 13 hours) I dont want to force it and take the risk of breaking it.
Thank you so much for sharing this truck collection.
@Sander_1062490 Hmm, that's a shame. The door requires a pretty good bed level, so if it got squished, it probably fused. Or stringing, that could also be the issue. Anyway, hope the recipient liked the gift regardless :D
@VitBudina yes he loved it. And yes I have a tiny elephant foot issue with my printer. So that might be the case. With the second print for my kid the door was bit movable but still not fully functional. And yes its probably that elephant foot, even though it more feels like a mouse foot.
@ironfan72 good job on printing it so tiny, not sure if I managed to get it working at 60% 👏
how is the top part not going to fall when printing? (edited)
@EuclidVillan_1933203 bridging, explained here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Inm0T0UrKIw
@Martin_822298 cool, the red petg looks really nice! 👏
Any tips for getting the door loose without damaging it? My print is definitely stuck pretty tight, but not the end of the world if it doesn't open.
I didnt think the back door gonna work but i found when i printed it is very good design thanks for sharing
@Dwarf_645236 glad it passed the kid test 😄 I'm impressed by how smooth the walls are on your print, great job! 👍
