Not just Christmas decoration! This bell is actually cryptex locker. You can set our own numerical code of course!
What do you hide?
Secret message for your loved ones? An golden ring?!! Or just keys to your backdoors? :) ...it's up to you of course.
Happy printing and Merry Christmas!
Print out all parts and don't forget that you need "code_sel_ring" four times.
I recommend this slicer settings:
-3 perimeters for larger parts (body & top) increase durability.
-25% infill
-0.1 mm or less of layer height if youre perfectionist, but 0.2 mm looks fine too ;)
Don't forget about FAN enabling > especially while you're printting ring(a,b,c,d).
-enable support for "top"; "body"; "clapper_set"; "insert" parts. (my settings are 35% with 0.8mm offset from perimeters)
Filament?
It's up to you to choose and fantasy really :) Bronzefill/goldfill would looks great, but why not orange, neongreen,.... I achieved best results with PLA.
Assembly
-connect "clapper_set" and "insert" with piece of 2mm string. Glue parts of the ball together when you will be happy with the lenght of the string.
-some flat parts of the rings and separators could need some sanding to be perfectly working.
-When your own unlockcode is set and everything works fine use just a touch of the glue to stick "top" and "body" parts together to finnish your bell.
-as decal upgrade you can tie some ribbon at the top of the bell.
Voilà! You're DONE! :D
