My husband asked me to design him a magnetic pin tray for sewing and this is what I came up with. It has two 60x10x3mm neodymium magnets embedded in it (I used these).

Both the 3mf and the gcode file contain a pause instruction for adding the magnets.

Be careful with the magnets - they're easy to break. Fortunately, if you break them you can still put the broken ones in the print (like I did in the pink one pictured).

I've used a variety of settings for these, including both 0.4 and 0.6mm nozzles. When using the 0.6mm nozzle, I used a variable layer height to provide more definition at the surface of the tray. Both the attached  3mf and gcode file use an 0.4mm nozzle and a consistent 0.15mm layer height.
