All the other axle-based spool holders on here seem to be designed only for top-loading printers. I have a Prusa Mini+ and wanted a free-standing spool holder that fed nicely into the bowden tube and that could support all the varying widths of my filament brands' spools. I was happy to find Eric BEAUGUITTE's models!
However, I quickly noticed that the hubs only fit inside a few of my filament spools' holes (Creality), so I remixed a couple smaller hub options (while retaining the same axle size). Now I have three sets of hubs and grab the size I need depending on the filament brand (i.e. spool hole size) I'm loading. Works fine for Prusament, Polymaker, Fillamentum, Fulament, Creality, and others.
I've been using a 0.8 nozzle lately and had no problem printing this in both PLA and PETG using standard PrusaSlicer printer settings for 0.8 nozzle and 0.30mm DETAIL @0.8 nozzle MINI preset (2 perimeters, 15% infill).
So, should be fine printing at standard settings on 0.6 or 0.4 nozzles.
I recommend printing a pair of each hub size in different colors so you can easily tell the pairs/sizes apart.
Hope this is helpful. This is my first remix ever (I'm new to Blender), so please go easy if anything isn't perfect. Thanks!
