This bracket is designed for mounting a SeeedStudio XIAO+WIO module directly below a N type RF connector (specifically, directly below a fibreglass antenna). It provides a firm support for both the connector and the board below it.

The bracket is designed to take 3mm x 15mm self-tapping screws, you can drill these holes out further to allow through-bolts etc. I provide a template to assist in drilling the N connector holes in the case body. Enlarge the central hole after drilling the template to allow the pigtail enough room

The module itself is simply clipped between the suport bars and the USB-C connector then helps keep it in place. If worried, use a bit of tape to further secure it (kapton tape is ideal). There are two ‘heights’ to this, the taller one providing more room for routing the LoRa and WiFi pigtails.

Because the USB socket faces downwards you need to leave room for the USB cable below the bracket. In my case I simply exit the cable below my simple rainproof case.

There is a gasket pattern in the files that might be of use in waterproofing this. For my node I assembled the bracket tightly and then used clear lacquer of the screw heads and holes. The body of my ‘case’ is made from a plastic fish food container, appropriately drilled.
