High powered rocketry requires use of rail buttons to retain the rockets to the guide rails.  The rail buttons are either affixed using wood screws into the rocket body or with weld nuts that don't mount flushly against the inner rocket body.  The “Rail Button Nut Holder” fixes this problem and provides a curved surface to conform to the inner body tube and a flat surface for the weld nut to rest against.  The weld nut is glued to the nut holder and then expoyed into the body tube.

Additionally, the rail buttons need to stand off the body to prevent the rail from scrapping the body.  The “Rail Button Standoff” provides an aerodynamically faired spacer to provide the required gap.  This part simply installs between the body tube and the rail button.  The rail button installs using a #8-32 countersunk screw through the spacer and into the Rail Button Nut Holder.

Parts for both 2.6/3in and 4in rockets are included.  They are differentiated by how many dots are on the bottom of the spacer and how many notches are on the side of the nut holder.  For 2.6/3in rockets, a 1/4in launch lug adapter is provided incase you arrive at a launch and there are no rails available.

All parts are printed 100% infill using PETG.
