The WH3DBAH (“We Have 3D Benchy At Home”) Sight is a novelty foam blaster sight heavily inspired by the famed 3D Benchy printer test model. Featuring wider windows and a faux fiber optic reticle mounted to the Benchy’s bow, this is designed to work as a genuine aiming device for foam dart (nerf) blasters. The latest version is secured to any standard Picatinny tactical rail using an M3 Socket Head Hex Screw and trapped hex nut, making mounting to virtually any pro-level blaster a breeze.
I admit that my experience with Fusion is limited. For the life of me, I couldn’t figure out how to turn the available 3D Benchy STL mesh into a solid model that I could easily work with. Something snapped in me, and I spent an afternoon re-modeling my own version of the 3D Benchy so I could modify it how I wanted. Hence, “We Have 3D Benchy At Home.” There are other differences, including a missing steering wheel, but I tried to keep as faithful to the original as possible to be recognizable at a distance.

The author remixed this model.
Traced and re-modeled my own Benchy based on the available STL mesh, expanding the front and rear windows to make an added reticle on the bow more viewable. Added Picatinny Rail receiver mounted via 2 #4 x 3/8in screws.
