This project aims to build a portable computer specifically designed for club DJs.

It features a wide display optimized for DJ software, along with a keyboard for essential non-DJ tasks.
The audio interface and DJ controller are external, enabling the use of an external mixer or the connection of other high-quality audio devices through USB.

How to Build Hardware

Please refer to the STEP file for assembly instructions.

Some screw holes are bridged for stable printing of the overhanging sections. Drill out the holes using a drill or similar tool.
Heat-press the insert nuts into the opposite side of the screws. Refer to the STEP file for the size of the nuts.

The display mount will hold the display, driver PCB, and Raspberry Pi.
For added stability, you can attach the display to the mount with double-sided tape.
The display driver's power supply is directly soldered to the Raspberry Pi. It can also be powered using a USB cable.

Keyboard

The keyboard is not connected directly to the Raspberry Pi, but is instead controlled by the RP2040-zero with QMK Firmware and connected via USB.

Of course, you can also build it with hand-wiring or other MCUs.
