My wife was getting into making dumplings and I saw she was struggling with the flimsy handles on the cheap one she had so wasn't getting a nice closed edge.
I first made the star edge which worked well, but needed a few more layer in the perimeter to strengthen the hinge area, then I also dropped the layer height to .15 for better bonding.
Works really well. Had banana and caramel sauce dumplings for breakfast, yum.
I then created the fanned design so she can differentiate different fillings.
They both work great, really solid.
If you make them maybe share your filling ideas. Good luck.

Notes:
I printed this with 7 perimeters so the hinge part is mostly solid and strong. Also at .15 layer height so the layers were bonded right through. With retraction at .85 I found there was absolutely no finishing required.
Print it in one piece, the hinge is printed in place no assembly required.
