Scaled down version of my 3d printed mini tool box. At only 187.5mm wide, it will fit comfortably on the Ender 3 and similarly sized printers.

For those printing with the BambuLab AMS or similar units, print profiles with the color changes incorporated are found on my Maker World here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1108767#profileId-1104950. All support settings are preset in the print profiles as well.

This is a fully 3D printable mini tool box inspired by the US General mini tool box from Harbor Freight and the Kobalt box from Lowe's.

The box itself is designed to print with the back side down without supports to reduce filament waste. The drawers will need support at the front under the handle lip, but the main box and the lid need no supports. The lid attaches via a piece of filament inserted through the hinge. As always, make sure your printer is properly tuned to print at proper tolerances so the filament piece will fit through the hinge.

Settings: 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height, 3 walls, 15% infill

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

Scaled down to 75% to fit on smaller printers. Adjusted the size of the hinge hole larger to still fit a piece of 1.75mm filament. Slight adjustment to drawers to correct fitment issues that surfaced when printing scaled down drawers from the original.
