The Zwinder stand, crossmembers, and axel are remixes of several parts towards accomdating an MMU filament spool rewind assembly. This combination allows for a better fit within the Repkord RepBox2.
Print in PETG or PLA, at .20 layer height. I printed this with PETG on my MK4S, no supports, no brim, no problem. 20% in-fill.
I will add that printing the Integrated Rewinder was a bit fiddley at times, so I separated out the body, lid, and the one tooth gear (clip-side) and printed those no problem. I did that in PrusaSlicer by using the “Split to Objects” feature", creating two separate prints jobs. The rest of the assembly I watched over like a hawk, pausing when necessary if/when the filament got any bit stringy, cutting away any features with an exacto knif, and then resumed the print. It took a little extra time, but was necessary on my end as my first attempt went sideways real quickly. So be watchful.
Other than that, get yourself a set of 608 bearings, and you're set.
Please note, I've only printed 2 of these so far, so I'm really in the prototype phase. That said, I feel pretty confident that these will work well together as a 5 spool MMU3 autorewinder unit within the RepBox2.
Update as of 02/12/2025:
Discovered that 5 spools assemblies did not fit well side-to-side within the RepBox2. As a result, shortened the crossmember (secure with a dab of cyanoacrlate if needed) and added the crossmember “stick” to strengthen structural integrity. Used metal pan screws (#4 x 3/4in) from Lowe’s to secure stick. Included several picture to show final assembly and fit.
Also, I've included a blank/unembossed stand for those who don't want the labeling on their assembly. If you desire, get onto Tinkercad and add your own touch as desired.
Much thanks goes out to all original modelers Repkord, Vincent Groenhuis, Jim Nangano, and Sanka for their designs and assistance in achieving this build.
The author remixed this model.
I used various parts from each designer to complete my rewinder assembly, aka, Zwinder (yes, that's what I'm calling it for now). In Tinkercad, I combined the RepWinder x2.14 stand, along with Sanka's Crossbeam_V5 to create the Zwinder which allows mounting of the IntegratedRewinder_v5.6_75.stl. The axel on the y-axis was shortened from the original to fit within the RepBox2 interior height (thanks Sanka).
