Picture this: you have an Ikea Alex Wide draw, and it's begging for a 14 x 10 Gridfinity base. Unfortunately you only have a Prusa Mini or an A1 mini. Until now, this all too common horror terrified us into manually slicing the grid up into small chunks. Well, I've done it for you.
Import this STL into your favorite slicer and click “auto arrange” then simply print all the plates.
Most of the joins are offset from each other - glue is optional - strategically position your big bins to keep everything arranged, or go nuts with glue. I'm not going to judge you either way.
Yes, some parts are identical, and we could come up with a highly optimised print plan, or we can just say “meh, what's an extra 1mb of storage compared to the cost to my sanity?”
Also - there seems to be two different versions of the Alex Wide Drawer - some have an internal dimension of 600mm, others have 605mm - but don't worry - I got you, fam - there is an optional spacer which is 2.5mm by 3.5mm - this allows you to correct for 2.5mm, 3.5mm, 5mm, 6mm, or 7mm if need be - just print four per side you want to space :)
Please - for the love of your own sanity, print the spacers (if you use them) with mouse ears, fam.
