I designed this model for reusing my first snowboard as vertical wall hanger for clothes or jacket.
Bill of material :
- Wall part : 2
- Snowboard part : 2
- Snowboard screws (M6) : 8
- M3 nuts : 4
- M3x20 countersunk screws : 4
- 4 M3 Molly ankle (min 45mm length)
Installation :
- Print 2 “Wall part” and 2 “Snowboard part”
- Use 4 snowboard screws for fixing the first “Snowboard part” like this : (the triangle shall point to the ground) (photo n°2)
- Add 2 M3 nuts at each hexagonal place.
- Repeat step 2 and 3 for 2nde side.
- Check with “Wall part” if everything is fine. Space between the two “Snowboard part” is not important BUT you should be careful about interspace between them when you'll drill your wall.
- Drill your wall (Ø8) (you can use “Wall part” as template for holes spacer) and use your 4 Molly ankle. (photo n°3)
- Put you snowboard in front of the wall, and slide it from the top to the bottom. (photo n°4 & n°5)
- Use 4 M3 screws to secure it with radial holes (photo n°6)
- Congratulations, you've mount the Snowboard wall mount.
You could use those parts for horizontal mount too by turning 90° all parts.
Please, post some makes to give me some ideas of usecases :-)
Happy printing !
