So I was looking for a stand for my Ableton Push 3. I wanted it to fit into my travel case with the Push, so minimal was better. I found a few triangle block designs here, decent but seemed fiddly to keep it together. If figured I could do my own, and maybe make it sturdier, so I went for it.

I realized that the Push itself is only supported by four points (rubber feet at each corner), so the body is already considered “rigid.” I figured I just needed to raise the back two contact points then, and was glad to see that the front rubber pads allow a ~17 degree tilt upwards and still work.

This design is for 110 mm (4.3 in) long legs that hold solidly onto the Push body, at the back two corners. A cut-out in the design aligns against the back feet to give a confident positioning, with a sharp 3mm clearance at the top. There are little divots under the new feet for adding rubber mini-bumpers.

Add gaffer's tape to prevent finish wear and give a bit of compliance to the fit. While you're at it, put a few more bits of tape on there to mark the location of the inputs on the back… Ableton skimped out on a body screen-print. Mirror the design to get the other side.

Lemme know what you think of the design. The legs are super portable and it feels really solid.
