I didn't have a specific need for another box, I'm just a sucker for 3d printed boxes and this is a good one. Initially I was worried that the latches were too tight, but I just loosened the screws a smidge and the latches work very well now. Used PLA for the box and PETG for the latches.

Printed well using clear pla, and another in white petg and a 3rd black pla. Had some problems with the black pla but after changing the filament from DeepLee to Sunlu it printed really well.

Excellent Box*

An awesome model and easy to print. I used stainless hex head bolts and hammered them in. The latches seem to be strong enough printed in PLA, I am not expecting to keep people out just odds and ends in :-)

Great design. I printed at 200% and it scaled great. Just wish I printed the bottom first as at 200% i had to remove the strap anchors at the ends. Everything fits great and everything works just at 200%. Instead of 2mm rod...4mm. Instead of M3x25mm...M6x50mm. So snugI used a PEO patterned plate for that cool effect.
