Print
- I suggest 0.2mm layer height
- infill whatever you like but 20% is recommended
- supports are recommended
- no brim
- move the seam to the back of the print
- for nice finish of the top print it upside down, be careful when removing supports, though.
Assembly
- print it
- use 2mm drill to clean up the holes
- check if the display gets into the printed part properly without any obstructions, use a toothpick to push it from the bottom to disassemble the display and the printed base
- write down cable pinout on the back of the display (take a photo)
- push the cable through the hole, connect the cable to the display
- screw in two M2x12 screws to the plastic part so they stand out a bit
- put the display into the printed box, make sure cables are not tangled around the screws
- screw in the screws softly
- check if the display works
- push gently the top cover
- notice that you may need to a filer to remove a bit of plastic on the round extruding attachments
- notice that the cover is asymmetrical
- start with putting bottom and then gently push in the top
- optionally glue in magnets to the bottom of the box
