A Lamp which can be turned on by moving two magnets close to each other.

Needed parts:

  • 3D printed parts, see attached STLs.
  • 12V Power supply
  • 12V LED Strip
  • End Stop Switch or "Micro Switch" with roller
  • 2 pieces of string
  • some wire
  • 2 Magnets in cylindrical form: D=10mm, L=5mm
  • M3 Nuts and Bolts for mounting the microswitch. The main case parts need to be glued, I used "UHU Allplast" glue for plastics. You can use short lengths of filament to align all parts.

The dimensions of the microswitch (black body): 27.8mm x 15.8mm x 9.8mm
