This is a simple one-handed operation TicTac dispenser, for use when driving or wherever. The discharge chute can be flipped to make it left or right handed.
Note: Now V2. The dispenser is no bigger externally, but the slider cavity has been enlarged and the internal geometry of the side pieces and adaptor have been adjusted to reduce failed drops (by accepting TicTac's in more varied orientations). That said, just small enough so you only get one at a time. Just like a real pack of Tic-Tacs, the feed can jam. If so simply invert/shake and try again.
There is one printable swap-out component if you prefer to have an exit chute that directs the sweet into your mouth for true one handed operation [Directed_Exit.stl].
There are 5 main printable components. You then need to ‘re-cycle’ or ‘rob’ (delete as applicable) a spring from an old retractable ball-point pen. 20mm length is ideal. The mounts will accept up to a 5mm OD spring internally and OD 6-8mm externally
To attach everything together either use
Photo’s of full parts required and correct assembly checker included.
To insert the TicTac pack, remove the lid insert and cleanly cut the labels along the edge. No need to remove the side labels (allowance has been made for them). The TicTac pack is a push fit and pull release. Push the pack down into the adaptor until it pushes home.
Made from PETG (food-safe and waterproof). BgCode is supplied for a complete parts print (for both 15 & 20mm bolt options). The side panels will print fine without bed or enforcer supports enabled (but, for widest compatibility, I have included enforcer support for bolt and nut cavities in the BgCode).
No brim is required (and is not recommended). Supports are not required. Side panels print outer-face down. Slider prints right-way up. TicTac Adaptor prints right-way up. Discharge chute prints inverted.
