The fastest way to bind multiple booklets together, using 3d printing.

This project was made to help in the making of books, by small teams and for production of a few dozens of the same volume.
It is heavily inspired by the concept of zine and fanzine, and thought for the making of it.

Binding books that hold a lot of pages can be a task that takes a lot of time, and that can freeze even the most stylish zine project.
I wanted to find an alternative way of binding big books, that have lots of booklets.

I wanted something that was :
• Quick to use
• Strong, resilient
• Cheap to make
• Reusable for multiple projects
• And not too ugly

So I made this.

The model is made using openscad, so it is adaotable to your books size very easily, both the file and the tutorial to use this tool are in my git repo : https://codeberg.org/filemon_filemon/tpu_book_binding
