Egg V1 has a flat on the bottom so it will stand up. The models are oriented to print. Some support may be needed on Egg Top. As you can see in the photo of the V1 Egg on the Left I used little or no support. Since I printed each half with the inside of the egg half facing up I got poor resolution around the area touching the plate as there was insufficient support. However the irregular crack forming the edges where the egg halves meet printed beautifully.

Egg V2 has no flat on the bottom and I printed each half with the mid or open section on the plate with support designed by the Prusa slicer. This is the Egg on the RHS of the photo. The Egg extremities are nice all the way to the end. The egg center where it joins is slightly lower quality as that is the area that joined the support so the egg piece still fit together but not as nicely as Egg V1 but the Egg surface at the extremities is nicer. Tradeoffs.*** Its important to note that I managed to flip the model across the axis so the broken cracked surfaces in Egg V2 are opposite Egg V1 and you can not mix and match without flipping the model.
