Hello, in my setup, the filament loading process is a bit complex due to limited space and the presence of a filament dry box. However sometimes I just want to print a tpu or some almost empty spools.
Therefore, I wanted to find a way to continue printing the traditional way, without the MMU. Here is my magnetic solution, which allows for quick switching between the MMU and a separate spool.
The main part mmu3Connector is replacing the “mmu3-selector-front-plate” from prusa. You can still use same screws and same Bowden tube connector
The best is to use this with my reverse bowden setup. So you can swap the tube from the mk4 next extrude fast between this magntic couple and a second manual spool. Have a look here:

Part List:
4 x 8x3mm (or alternative 8x2mm with another stl) for coupler
4 x 8x3mm (or alternative 8x2mm with another stl) for the tube
1 x 8x3mm with hole for fillament
Assembly note: Due to some variations in the MMU, please ensure there is enough space between the magnetic coupler and the MMU3 by checking with a piece of paper. The mover should still be able to operate smoothly without any collisions. The component is not symmetrical, so be sure to align it correctly using the "L=Left" and "R=Right" stamps on the adapter.
I have to Versions for 8x2mm and 8x3mm magnets. have A look on the files.
You may have to glue the magnets if they don't fit perfectly
Next Note:
You will need very strong magnets. If the magnets are not strong enough, you'll notice that the tube adapter flips while the filament is loading. When the filament enters the MK4's next extruder, there is a significant force exerted on the MMU3 adapter.
The setup is working really well for me for weeks now. But pls give me some feedback.
