Mosquito V2 stock with a battery case, volt meter and auto on.

I like plinking to relax at work. It annoyed me that I had to load the battery every time, connect it - faff in general.

This mod makes the original stock by Miki much larger, adds a case for a 11.1V LiPo battery, a volt meter and a microswitch which activates the toy when the stock is pulled back.

Printed in Bambulab matte PLA.

You can use just the buffer tube parts and the stock if you want a larger version than Miki's one.

Extra hardware:

• lock spring is the same as in Miki's design - 5mm x 10+mm
• assorted M3 countersunk screws - get a kit on Amazon
  • button screws for the volt meter mount 
  •  
• M3x4mm heat set inserts
• M2 heat set inserts - the long ones are fine.
• M2 screw set - to mount the microswitch
• CA glue to assemble the stock rest to the stock. It also helps when securing the JST socket in the charging case.

It's so far modified, that it's 95% original now. I've started with the original, lengthened it, made it deeper, and then added a battery case, all internals, and a charging base. I still think Miki deserves the credit for the original design.
