This mirror is meant to recreate the look of the James Webb Space Telescope mirror array. I picked up some gold mirrors on Amazon and designed frames to hold them each in place with a dot of glue. Each frame is keyed to slot into the next hexagon and is held together with a bit more glue. I ended up tacking the backside with hot glue for extra support as well. Seems a lot more sturdy after adding the hot glue.
If you had a larger printer you could print more of these connected with less glue required but this works well be for me and my Prusa Mini.
You'll need 18 of the JamesWebbMirror_TNH_Frame.stl and just one JamesWebbMirror_TNH_Solid.stl. The mirror is about 2'x2' assembled.
I printed my JamesWebbMirror_TNH_Solid.stl with the PrusaSlicer top layer settings set to “Concentric” which I think gave it a nicer look than your standard top layer.
