Webb Telescope Ornament (No AMS/MMU)

Brighten your tree this season with this ornament of the James Webb Telescope's Mirror! A great gift for science lovers and space enthusiasts, this model is sure to be a hit. This ornament is printed in separate parts that snap together so there is no need for the use of an MMU or AMS system. 

The star effects seen in the picture are come from using the bambu lab effects sheet, but this could be printed on any build plate. The black frame was printed in Anycubic PLA and the mirrors are printed with Inland Silk PLA. I have included both the STEP files and 3mf for this file. Happy printing this holiday season! 

Print settings:

• 0.40 mm nozzle
• 0.16 mm layer height
• 2 wall loops
• 15% gyroid infill 
• Ironing on top layers to ensure smoothness

A quick tip if you have trouble with the fit of snap in parts, print a couple of extra hexagons at beginning of the print at slightly different scales (-1% to +1%) and test those before printing the rest.
