  • 15% infill
  • Prints best at 0.2mm layer height, although I've been successful printing at up to 0.42mm layer height
  • Print with the flat plate towards your build plate

Assembly Details

NOTE: This model is designed to be a tight fit! When fitting the print onto a headset the first time, try to gently coax the edges of the headset into place. The seams should line up and the headset should slip into place. Subsequent donning/doffings should be easier.

This model was designed to enable easy donning and doffing of the Quest 3S while maintaining a rigid connection to the robot/vehicle. I also included a short wall behind the headset that includes zip tie holes to safely attach a USB-Ethernet adapter.

The model works best when thin (1/8" or 3/16") bungee cord (link) is used to hold the headset in place. A channel on the bottom of the mount keeps the bungee cord in place when the headset is removed. Three 10-32 bolts secure the mount to your robot.
