This housing unit is designed for a control system that is measuring the water level in a 100l cistern and sends the results via WIFI to home assistant. The 100l water cistern is feeding a fully automatic balcony watering system based on gardena micro drip components.
The housing contains all PCBs that will be needed for the sensor control unit, as well as the USB-C connection for the ESP32 and two PG16 cable glands as outlets for the water level sensor and a temperature sensor. Above the USB-C connector is a fitting for a 3mm status LED. The PCBs are fitted with M2/M3 screws in threaded inserts (these brass melt in inserts - see link).
