Great to work with, I've added a text indent to better differentiate the sizes. Printed in PLA, cutting foam with boxcutter - no problem at all.
I would add center and 90° marks to help alignment. (edited)

The size fits perfectly. The wall thiclness is also perfect regarding the print time and stiffnes of the part. I printed mine with some old PETG (that's why there are so many strings).
Great model. I printed mine in PETG and had to add a brim.
But this is the best foam cutting/lagging tool on the internet right now.
Thanks, man! That means a lot to me. Really appreciate your support!
@HW_dad_1274688 Glad to hear it was worth the filament! Thx for trusting my model!
@buzele_2455777 Thx for sharing!
Great Model. 55mm fit 2-1/4in OD insulation perfectly. I had to deburr the overhang area to prevent damage to the insulation, but no big deal.
Personally, I would have preferred a smooth outer surface, my printer sounded like it was going to shake itself apart. A smooth outer surface would have printed faster and with better quality, but I understand the design choice.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. I understand that the additional details can slow down the printing process and cause printer vibrations, which is an important consideration. While modifying the overhangs isnt really an option with this design, I will keep your insights in mind for future designs.
I printed the 40mm version to cut insulation to lag my outside tap, and it made a fiddly job easy. Fingers crossed it will not freeze this year now
Amazing, Congratulations on well deserved first Place!!!!
@JenilDodiya1_2615303 Thx man. I like your engineer designs too!
I used the 50mm version and it fits a little loose on the Home Depot 3/4" split foam insulation. It will work for my needs but if I do a lot of cutting I will probably try the 45mm version.
Thanks for the print, it is very well done!
@HugoWhite I am not sure if they are completely standard, but I am guessing that the 3/4" Home Depot one is the same all over the US. I just measured, and according to my calipers it is *just* over 45mm. So your 45mm size would probably work. I printed my copy before I went to the store and took a guess that the 50mm would work and it does for my needs now. If I do reprint with the 45mm size I will let you know how well it fits.
@scthompson_1436694 That’s great, thanks for measuring! All the models are designed with a 1mm tolerance, so the 45mm size is actually 46mm in diameter. It should fit perfectly.
@Ron_168842 Thx for sharing! I’m glad to hear you like the model. If there’s anything I can adjust to make it a full 5 stars, feel free to let me know—I’d be happy to improve it!
Merry Christmas! 🎄 (edited)
This tool made installing the insulating foam on my hot water pipes an absolute breeze. I used a fine tooth sawzall blade(by hand) to cut the foam.
@JacobOlsen_2723943 Thx for sharing! I'm glad you find the model usefull. If you have any feedback or suggestions for improvements, feel free to share.
So far the 40, 50 and 60 mm printed fine. The 80mm however shows a floating wall at the bottom. Maybe you can check this one?
@nlmaca_2448768 I found the issue—the 30mm was fine, but the others were slightly angled. I’ve manually leveled each one, one by one, just to be sure. Everything should be good to go now! (edited)
@HugoWhite So far no issues on the slicer now. Printing them will take some time. Will add a new make or comment when i'm done. Thx for the quick response!
