Radiators/water heaters should be degassed before the heating season to increase efficiency of the heating and prevent issues.

Every time I used a cup or almost anything to vent the radiators I got water on the floor or on the wall. Often, the water is dirty so it will cause stains.

I designed this simple tool to prevent spillage when degassing home radiators.
It doesn't matter where the water outlet is pointing, it will flow to the bottom of the container.

Print time is only around 1 hour.

Before printing, measure diameter of the valve on the radiator (see picture) because the opening is 30mm wide.

If the valve is bigger, scale up the model.

I recommend to check measurements in slicer before printing to prevent plastics waste ;)

I now designed slim version (tool v2), but I recommend printing from something transparent so you will not fill it and spill because it got full.

My print settings:

- printer: Prusa MK4S
- layer height: 0.2mm
- sheet: Smooth PEI
- nozzle diameter: 0.4mm
- print orientation: as on the picture
- material: natural PLA (transparent PETG recommended)
- supports: no need
- perimeters: 3
- solid layers (top/bottom): 5/4
