In order to have a heater (or another piece of electrical equipment) inside the Mars 3 hood, you need to have a cable coming out of it, hence allowing the fumes from the resin or the hot air come out of it.  One of the solutions was to make a hole in your hood to bring out the cable.

Say no more.  Here is a riser in 1 cm and 2 cm versions, so your hood can still keep an airtight environment inside the printer, but you can drill holes on it to bring out the cables.

Printing and fitting the base

This riser is about 226x228 mm, so you'll need a print bed bigger than that.  All the tests have been on an ELEGOO Neptune 3 Pro, which has a standard 235x235 mm bed.  I had to tweak PrusaSlicer to convince it that the bed was 235x235 mm (instead of the 225x225 mm preset), but otherwise it printed perfectly.  I removed overhangs, so you won't need supports or any kind.

Try to compensate the elephant's foot effect so the fit is tight, but if your printer is not properly calibrated, you will need to tweak the scale of this riser a little bit up or down (less than 1%) on both the X&Y axes.

I recommend to print it with 5-10% infill, no supports, and around -0.2 mm correction for elephant's foot (so the fit is good).

Update 20250106: Added STEP AP242 files.
