These drawer frames and be interlocked to make a convenient storage unit for small parts. The drawers use a gridfinity base that will work with 6U high gridfinity boxes.
If the pieces are too snug, use the originals. For me these connectors are very tight and allow the drawers to lock together with no glue needed.
The connectors are half the depth of the drawers, you will need two connectors for each slot.
Please comment with any questions and I will respond to hopefully answer them.
Thanks to @budoprint for the original design.
The author remixed this model.
There are very few differences in these models versus the original. I felt the design was great but needed a few tweaks.
First, the back of the drawer has been lowered a small amount to reduce the amount of noise when the drawer is opened or closed.
Second, the size of the outline on the back has been increased by 2mms on the inside to cover any gap from reducing the side of the back of the drawer
Finally, the X and Y dimensions (Z is the length in the orientation of the models) of the connectors have been increased by 6%.
The result is a drawer that is quieter and that locks together without glue.
