This is a lidded box in the shape of a gnome. The hat is threaded onto the body. Under the hat is another box with a threaded lid.

The parts can be put together using the add part feature.   The sequence is Gnome Body 1, Gnome Beard, Gnome nose. Use Paint on Supports and smart fill, block supports on the bottom and sides of the inside of the gnome body. This will create a ring support that will hold up the top of the body where the threads are, making a better threaded part. The supports are easy to remove with a pare of pliers.

Use add settings, fuzzy skin to the beard. It sets the beard apart from the rest of the body. If you print the beard separately you can't use fuzzy skin or the beard won't fit in the body.

If you are using an MMU you can select the different parts and print them in different colors for a more dramatic effect.

The hat and hat plug should be printed separately. For the hat to thread onto the body you want to reduce the size by one percent in the x and y direction. That is the x y directions only. The z must remain scaled with the body or the threads won't work. For the threaded lid to fit into the hat it should  be reduced by 3 percent in the x y directions. Make sure you flip the plug over before you print it.

Have fun and enjoy
